June 2009 - African Violet Wallpaper Calendar

For some reason June reminds me of the color purple. So I decided for this month to design a purple wallpaper. I have this lovely small african violet in my kitchen, so I took a picture of it and designed this wallpaper.

My design was featured in Smashing Magazine’s desktop wallpaper calendar collection for June 2009. The wallpaper is available for download in a variety of sizes in two versions: with and without the calendar on it.
